1. Who We Are and Scope
PitchFit, Inc. is a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. We provide a B2B, AI-driven tool that helps founders and companies improve the quality of their pitch videos and related fundraising materials.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we process about:
- Users who create and use PitchFit accounts
- Individuals whose information may appear in uploaded videos or other content
- Visitors to our website and marketing pages
We currently focus on customers located in the United States.

We collect three broad categories of information.
2.1 Information You Provide to Us
- Account information – name, email address, password (hashed), company name, and other details you choose to provide in your profile.
- Pitch videos and related content – videos you upload for analysis, any associated titles/descriptions, and any other files or materials you submit ("Customer Data," as defined in our Terms of Service).
- Support and communications – information you provide when you contact us (for example, via email at help@getpitchfit.io), including the content of messages and any attachments.
- Payment information – we may receive limited billing details (such as your name, email, and transaction ID) from our payment processors when you purchase credits or analyses. Full payment card details are processed directly by our third-party payment processors and are not stored by PitchFit.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain information about how it is accessed and used, such as:
- Log data (IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, dates and times of access, referring/exit pages)
- Usage data (features used, analyses run, errors encountered, and similar analytics)
- Cookie and tracking data (using cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, keep you signed in, and analyze usage)
You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling certain cookies may affect how the Service functions.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information about you from:
- Payment processors (for example, confirmation of transactions and limited billing information)

We do not use your identifiable pitch videos or personal information to train third-party foundation models (such as OpenAI's or Anthropic's base models).
4. How We Use AI and Your Videos
PitchFit uses AI and machine learning to analyze pitch videos and generate insights for you.
- When you upload a video, we may use third-party AI services (such as speech-to-text and language models) to transcribe, analyze, and score your pitch.
- These providers act as service providers or processors to PitchFit and process Customer Data only to deliver the analysis requested via the Service.
- We do not grant them rights to use your content to train or improve their general models beyond what is necessary to provide services to PitchFit, in accordance with their applicable terms.
We may generate de-identified or aggregated data across many users' pitches (for example, average score distributions, common weaknesses across industries) and use that to:
- Improve our feedback quality
- Benchmark performance and user experience
- Develop new features and internal models
This Aggregated Data does not identify you, your company, or any individual.
5. Legal Bases (Where Required)
While we currently focus on U.S. users, some privacy laws (such as GDPR/UK GDPR) require us to state legal bases for processing.
Where these laws apply, we rely on:
- Contract – to provide the Service you request under our Terms of Service
- Legitimate interests – for security, fraud prevention, product improvement, and certain analytics, balanced against your rights and expectations
- Consent – where required for specific optional uses (for example, certain marketing communications)
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information or Customer Data and do not share your pitch videos with third parties for their independent marketing or advertising purposes.
We share information only with:
Service providers and processors
- Cloud hosting and storage providers
- AI and transcription providers
- Payment processors
- Analytics, logging, and monitoring tools
These providers may access personal information only to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.
Business transfers
If PitchFit is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of its assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to reasonable confidentiality protections.
Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to:

Specific practices include:
- Pitch videos and related Customer Data – we generally delete or anonymize Customer Data (including stored videos) within thirty (30) days after account closure or a verified deletion request, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal, security, or compliance purposes, as described in our Terms of Service.
- Account information – kept while you maintain an account; certain records may be retained longer as required by law (for example, transaction records).
- Usage and analytics data – may be retained in de-identified or aggregated form for a longer period to improve the Service and for business analytics.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Your specific rights depend on where you live, but in general you can:
- Access and update certain account information by logging into your account
- Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails
- Request deletion of your account and associated pitch videos by emailing help@getpitchfit.io
If you are located in a jurisdiction that grants additional rights (for example, GDPR/UK GDPR or certain U.S. state laws), you may have the right to request:
- Access to the personal information we hold about you
- Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion of certain personal information

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

PitchFit is based in the United States and currently focuses on U.S. customers. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on our website, update the "Last Updated" date above, and may notify you by email or through the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after any changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should stop using the Service.
